Karen and I took a few days this “winter,” well “California winter,” and went to Death Valley for some touristing. It’s certainly preferable to be there when it’s 70 deg in the daytime instead of 120! We stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch and tried to hit the high spots in the valley plus some mountain trails and ghost towns.
